Opelousas, Louisiana – April 8, 2016 – C&G Containers, Inc. is excited to announce the construction of a new 83,000-square-foot facility in Opelousas, Louisiana, located adjacent to Interstate 49 North. The projected completion date for the facility is early 2017.
This new facility will house all three of C&G Containers’ divisions: General Packaging, Environmental, and Pharmaceutical. It will offer a well-integrated space that allows for streamlined operations. Each division will maintain separate workspaces. This strategic layout will enhance operational efficiency and enable better service for customers. Additionally, the facility will emphasize “Going Green” initiatives, focusing on recycling to minimize waste.

- Controlled Environment Processing (Clean Rooms)
- Analytical Testing Lab, equipped with:
- Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) analyzer for VOCs
- TOC Analyzer
- Autoclaves
- Specialty oven chambers
- Microbial testing equipment
- Particulate Cleaning
- Sterile Foil-Wrapped Processing
- Water Criteria USP/WFI Rinse Processing
- Silanization
- Steam Sterilization (to complement depyrogenated products)
The expansion leverages the expertise and experience of C&G Containers’ current staff, ensuring the successful implementation of these new processes.
